WatchBox, the luxury watch platform, has announced that it will invest in De Bethune, an independent watchmaker. De Bethune was founded in 2002 by Denis Flageollet, a visionary Master Watchmaker and Pierre Jacques, CEO. The watch manufacturer has been devoted to creating contemporary watches that combine traditional watchmaking and the avant-garde since its inception.

Pierre Jacques and Denis Flageollet remarked that WatchBox was a long-standing partner and a loyal supporter of De Bethune. “We have always admired their dedication to educating the world about watchmaking. It is a joy to join forces with them.”

WatchBox’s investment in De Bethune will allow them to realize their long-term vision of advancing watchmaking and reinterpreting it. As part the agreement Pierre Jacques (CEO and Master Watchmaker), will remain on De Bethune’s board of directors.
