WHAT HAS THIS TO DO WITH POSITIVE MASCULINITY?

We often talk about positive masculinity. We want to make sure that all of articles and guides are related to helping you live a happier, healthier life. This guide for men is the same. This guide is part of the concept of Enclothed cognition. It’s the science of looking and feeling good. Building self-confidence is an important part of positive masculinity. Every man could benefit from healthy skin. Healthy masculinity is about feeling good and looking good.

  • MOISTURIZER

This one is pretty obvious. Moisturizer does exactly that, moisturizes your skin. Moisturizers are necessary to protect your skin. The University of Tennessee Medical Center states that these areas of skin(face) shed more cells than other parts of their bodies and need moisture to repair themselves. This allows for younger skin cells, according to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The massaging effect of applying lotion stimulates blood circulation and new cell growth. Make sure you use a moisturizer with SPF to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s ultraviolet rays. You need to use a good moisturizer every day.

  • EXFOLIATE

Although you may have heard the term “exfoliate” many times before, it is important to understand what it means. Exfoliating is “the process of removing dead skin cells from your skin’s surface using a chemical, granular substance or exfoliation instrument.” Your skin will look healthier and brighter after a round of exfoliating. However, we would limit the frequency to two-three times per week. Redness and irritation can be reduced if you have sensitive skin.

  • FACIAL CLEANSER

You already have a washcloth and soap. So why should you purchase a facial cleanser separately? A facial cleanser, on the other hand, is not designed to clean your entire body. A facial cleanser does more than clean your skin. It also helps to unclog pores and exfoliate the top layer of skin cells, making sure that everything looks great every day.

  • FACE MASK

Cucumbers and face masks are not just for girls’ night. Face masks can be difficult because there are so many options. You can try all of them, and putting on a face mask can be one the most relaxing experiences a man can have. You can even use one after a long day with your partner. Add HBO Max to the mix and you will have a wonderful evening.

  • EYE CREAM

Do you have bags under your eyes? Are you suffering from wrinkles? The eye cream is for men who want to look great no matter what occasion. The difference between the using an eye cream and not is remarkable after trying.

 MEN’S SKINCARE HANDBOOK

It’s easy to get started with a skincare regimen if you know what you are doing. Knowing which products you should start with is the first step in any great skincare routine. Jon Shanahan from Stryx says that there is no way to reverse the clock on your skin, but you can start prevention today. So, take a look through our men’s skincare guide and pick some products to make your skin shine. Essential skincare products include a cleanser, eye creams, moisturizers, serums, night creams, exfoliators, and moisturizers. You don’t have to purchase all these products at once. However, some companies like Geologie offer most of them in a complete set. Finding the right products for you is key. Once you have done that, it is easy to get into a routine.

  • Moisturizer and facial cleanser for the morning.
  • Night cream and eye cream are recommended at night.
  • You’ll be fine if you add a mask or exfoliator to your routine once or twice per week.

It’s all about finding the right products for you. It is all about choosing the right products and not just any other.

LEARN MORE ABOUT YOUR SKIN TYPE

Before you rush to buy any of the products in our men’s skincare guide, make sure you know your skin type. Yes, you can have multiple types of skin. The type of skin that you have will determine the type of soap you choose.

It is easy to see that there are only four types of skin: normal, oily, dry, and combination. Normal skin is just that, it has no flakes and is not too oily. You can use most products because everything is perfect.

  • DRY SKINS

Let’s begin with dry skin. Dry skin is something that most people have experienced at one time or another in their lives. Dry skin can be caused by “hot or cold temperatures, low moisture levels, and soaking with hot water.” Other times, dry skin is just a natural phenomenon. You can protect yourself from dry skin by being proactive with your skincare routine and looking for the best products to heal dry skin.

Check for dry skin symptoms such as flaking, cracks and itching. Dry skin can look rough and cause a sensation of tightness. This is especially true after bathing, showering or swimming. The men’s skincare guide recommends a few lifestyle changes to prevent dry skin. First, you need to reconsider how you shower. Limit your time in the shower. Make sure that your soap doesn’t dry your skin. Dry skin can also be prevented by adding moisture to the air or a humidifier. There are a few ingredients that you need to look out for when searching for products for dry skin. These include hyaluronic acids, ceramides and plant oils, aloe, shea butters, and urea. You may also need prescription-grade lotions to treat your dry skin. There are always things you can do to protect your skin from dryness.

  • OILY SKIN

Oily skin is caused by excessive sebum production. People with oily skin are more likely to get acne and breakouts. Oily skin can be traced back to genetics. It’s likely that you will inherit this condition from your parents if they had it. Oily skin can also be caused by hot weather and excessive washing. Young men are more likely to get acne and pimples than ever before: it’s because of testosterone and puberty.

The American Academy of Dermatologists recommends that you wash your face after every exercise, morning, and evening. Avoid using your hands to scrub your skin. It can cause skin irritation, and make it worse. Another thing to consider is how often your face touches the surface of the earth. You should stop touching your face.

Non-comedogenic skincare products should not clog pores or contain oil. According to Melanie Palm, Dermatologist, look for active ingredients that can help your oil glands work more efficiently, such as retinol and salicylic acids. A gentle cleanser is a must (look out for one that foams), and you should moisturize every day. Although it may seem counterintuitive to use moisturizer, you should not let your skin dry. This will cause your skin to produce more sebum, which can make your skin even oilier.

  • COMBINATION SKIN

Combination skin can be oily or dry in different parts of the skin. Your forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks will usually be oily, while the rest of your skin is dry. Genetics is the most likely reason you have combination skin. There isn’t much you can do. However, you should avoid harsh products that can dry out some areas and oilen others. Combination skin requires the right products. You can divide and conquer to manage combination skin. Treat dry areas with products that are designed for dry skin. Same goes for oily areas of your skin. This is a difficult task. If you have combination skin it’s even more important to find the right products that will keep your skin healthy and functioning smoothly.

  • BE CAREFUL WITH SUN

Okay, guys, are you sure you think you’re more tough than the sun? I’m sorry, but you are not. It’s time to start applying sunscreen as the summer heats up. There is a higher risk of developing melanoma. Stop thinking that you are too good to use sunscreen. The AAD recommends that sunscreens should be broad-spectrum (protects against UVA/UVB rays), SPF 30, or higher, and that they are water resistant. There are many moisturizers on the market that have SPF. Make sure to double-check all ingredients before you buy. I will be the first to say that no matter what, you are more powerful than the sun.
