What about every item on a meal? Do you always like everything? Or all the creations of your favorite artist? It’s rare. It happened to me last year, when I discovered Refy beauty brand.
Refy, the brainchild of Jessica Hunt (1.6 Million followers) and Jenna Meek (co-founder), is a packaged version of Hunt’s aesthetic. It features intensely voluminous statement brows and a seamlessly diffused bronzer.
The beauty industry has a lot of celebrity and influencer brands. Imagine Ariana Grande’s Rem Beauty, Selena Gomez’ Rare Beauty, or Harry Styles’ Pleasing. Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty is also available, as well as Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern. Huda Kattan’s Huda Beauty is also available. As I said, not light.
But a well-known founder doesn’t necessarily guarantee a brand’s longevity or success. It all comes down to the quality of the products. Refy is our favorite.
Four of the seven steps in my make-up routine for the past two months have been Refy products. Everything is easy to use and blendable with soft, creamy formulas. The Brow Sculpt gel is a popular product, but we will be covering that soon. Let’s now dive into the details of each Refy product. We will start with the Refy lip collection.
Refy Lip Collection
Refy’s latest release, the Lip Collection, features a dual-ended cream lip liner and setting solution that prevents it from smudging and transferring even under intense pressure. A vinyl-like, high shine lip gloss can be added to the top. The Lip Collection is available in six colors (three with brown undertones and three with pink). It can be purchased as a set or separately. Need.
Refy Brow Art
Refy’s Brow Sculpt is one of the few products that are instantly promoted to cult status in group chats. “Hello, brows!” said one friend who converted to Christianity. Another friend said, “Worried it all yesterday and they didn’t budge.”
Brow Sculpt is designed to be used in between a wax or a gel. It remains soft during application and doesn’t dry down with the stiffness of other setting gels. Brow Sculpt can keep your brows in the right shape. Trust.
Refy Brow Pomade
Brow pomades don’t necessarily have to give you full, HD brows. Pomades can be used to add subtle colour, dimension, or shape to the eyebrows.
Use the included angled brush to create your unique brows. Start by drawing small lines with your backhand. You can create a custom eyebrow colour by blending lines from different colors and sizes.
Refy Brow Pencil
When filling in eyebrows, versatility is key to me. I love being able to adjust the volume and tone of my eyebrows to suit different occasions. The pencil’s small nib allows you to place fine hairs strategically, creating a fuller eyebrow as you wish. You can then buff the dual-ended firm spatule.
Refy Cream Bronzer
Refy Cream Bronzer is the best new product you can buy this year. It’s creamy, smooth, flexible, and buildable. It can be used on all skin tones and types. It adds dimension and glow to the face and doesn’t have glitter or shimmer. It is the best bronzer that I have ever used. It keeps your skin plump and hydrated while you’re wearing it. I love the Refy Cream Bronzer! It gives me holiday skin.
Blush Refy Cream
Do not be fooled by the sheer size. A little Refy cream blush can go a long way. The cream formula is highly pigmented and comes in three shades: Rose (a lighter, dusty pink), Citrine, which is a healthier, darker pink flush, and Malaya (a terracotta-burnt).
The smaller end of the Duo Brush is used to apply blush to the face. Next, use the fluffier, more long-haired end to buff it out.
Refy Gloss Highlighter
Highlighter should be a glowing, natural-looking highlighter. Instead of glitter explosion, think ‘glazed donut’. Refy was able to understand the assignment.
The formula, which is rich in natural oils and minerals and silky smooth on the skin, blends easily and feels hydrating (without feeling too oily), at the same time.
Refy Duo Brush
This brush is a combination buffing and stippling tool. It applies cream bronzer, blusher, and the Gloss Highlighter beautifully.
I prefer to grab product with the shorter end. Refy products have a high pigmentation so this prevents you from applying too much product and wasting it. To blend and buff, I use the longer end of the brush with the stippling tip. It is functional, easy to use, and performs as a tool three times its price.
