Although it’s hard for us to believe that Nipsey’s The Marathon Keeps is now a decade old (it’s actually the 10th anniversary of the iconic mixtape), 2021 marks its 10th anniversary. PUMA created a special RS-X3 to celebrate a decade’s worth of The Marathon Continues.

The special design pays homage both to the rapper and community activist. The toebox and the mudguard are covered in bright red suede to make a striking contrast to the rest. The shoe’s tongue features “The Marathon” above a shot-clock-style #10 graphic. The inside of the tongue says “God Got Us,” which Hussle loves. The Formstrip’s lateral quarter also has an “IHUSSLE” fabric tag. The co-branded graphic at the heel combines the PUMA cat logo with the flag of Hussle’s The Marathon Clothing. Nipsey photos are displayed on insoles. Laces have a “7 Days a Week” hit at their tips. The look includes thick black midsoles and a touch of red at the heel. Black outsoles complete the look.
