PLATEAU STUDIO, a Taipei streetwear label, was founded in 2019. It is known for its bold avantgarde designs. The studio returns with a Friday in Love series for FW21. This series offers a break from the norm and an ode of independent thought.

“We have all been on the same path since childhood, learning hard and making a lot of money. Pop culture is influenced by Japan and the United States, so we fear that we will fall short if we try to be different. Today, ignorance is a common part of the daily life of young people. It is essential to keep moving forward, to correct and to continue learning. Friday is the exception.”

Plateau says Friday is a joyful and unruly day. The MA-1 jacket features curved panel details, a maroon striped blazer with two-tones, a cream-colored blouse in loose-knit mesh and a varsity jacket. It is expected that the Fall/Winter 2021 collection of PLATEAU STUDIO will be available on the brand’s website and at select retailers in September.
