The Nike N.354 sub-label creates conceptual takes on classic Swoosh silhouettes. One example is the Daybreak Type. The Daybreak Type is a stripped-down version of the original Daybreak, a OG running shoe that was first released in 1979. It features a bricolage construction and bold color schemes. The see-through mesh quarter panels, toeboxes and toeboxes are made of dark red, while the mudguard, forefoot overlays and eyestays are covered in crimson leather. The leather heel tab even has a salmon-pinkish tone.
The branding is provided by the blue N.354 hits on both the heel tab and the fabric tag of the exposed foam tongue. Blue insoles have a hand-drawn swoosh and white laces secure the top. The look is finished by white EVA midsoles with black outsoles.
