NBCUniversal will keep its doors open for a reboot of The Office but only when Greg Daniels requests it. After initially saying “no comment,” to the question about a reboot, she stated that “Whenever Greg Daniels wishes to do one,” during a panel session. Daniels isn’t opposed working on The Office again but his schedule is very busy with shows like Netflix’s Space Force or Amazon’s Upload. Collider heard from him in January that “it’s not impossible”.

“It’s possible. It would be a great opportunity for me to participate, and I have two other shows that I am currently working on.” The Office, despite its ending almost a decade ago proves to have been one of the most beloved shows in recent TV history. With 57.13 million minutes of the show streamed in the U.S., it was named 2020’s most-watched TV show on all streaming platforms. It is now available to stream on Peacock.
