Nando’s was hit hard by a shortage of supplies and had to close nearly 50 locations across the UK. This has a knock-on impact on some of our restaurants in England, Scotland, and Wales.

“We will do everything possible to return the peri-peri to its rightful place — on your plates.” Nando’s asked its customers to verify local availability online before visiting its stores to avoid disappointment. This follows warnings from 2 Sisters Food Group (the largest UK supplier of supermarket chicken) that there was a problem with the country’s supply. Supply issues are caused by both shortages of labor due to Brexit and rising costs for ingredients due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The UK supply chain is in a bit a mess right now. This has a knock-on effect on some of the restaurants in England, Scotland, and Wales. “We are doing all we can to get PERi-PERi back on your plates!”
