Michelob ULTRA Contributes $100 Million to Support Gender Equality in Sports

Michelob ULTRA announced a $100 million USD commitment for women’s sport over the next five year. The brand’s latest campaign aims to raise awareness of female athletes in the country. They also ask consumers to “save” sports highlights from women on social media to improve visibility for these athletes.

The brand has partnered up with three talented athletes to kick off the campaign: Nneka Ogwumike, CeCe Telfer (first openly transgender player to win an NCAA championship title), and Andraya Carter (basketball analyst and reporter, former NCAA champion and champion for inclusivity). Ogwumike said, “It’s more than making a statement today. It’s about setting goals and taking steps towards gender equality on and off court.”
