South Korean tech company LG continues to expand its UltraGear gaming product line. The GP9 is a standalone gaming speaker that features 3D Gaming Sound technology. It provides 7.1 virtual surround sound. Hi-Res Audio certified, the speakers can be switched between first-person shooter and real-time strategy modes.
The Game Genre Optimizer lets you adjust the speakers to suit your gaming needs. Built-in batteries can last for approximately five hours. The speakers have various input ports, including USB-C, AUX Bluetooth connectivity, and an optical port. Sony’s new PlayStation 5 has a smaller heatsink.
LG’s UltraGear GP9 gaming speaker will be available in September for $470 USD.
