What is the NUFACE?
The NuFACE uses micro-currant technology and helps contour, lift, and tone your facial muscles. It’s like a facial workout! Microcurrents have also been shown to increase collagen and elastin production.
This facial focuses on lifting your skin and toning it, something that we noticed every time we try it. We asked the esthetician about NuFACE. “The NuFACE won’t have the same effect as in-office treatments”, she said, “but with diligence and time, it will be able to achieve similar “lifting” results to an in-office treatment. It’s also proven to promote the drainage of fluid, making it an excellent de-bloater/de-puffer. Clinical evidence also supports the claim that microcurrent can lift sagging skin.”
We have also spoken with professionals in the beauty field who swear by this little device. After many conversations, it became clear that we need this device.
How often should NUFACE be used?
It is recommended to use the device for 5-10 minutes per day for the first 2 months. You can continue to use it 2-3 times per week to maintain your results. It’s like working out. The more you do it, the better the results. It has been a pleasant surprise that we can exercise for 5-10 minutes per day, 4-5x per week. You can do more if you have more time.
Which NUFACE should I choose – MINI or THE TRINITY?
The Trinity can swap out the head attachment, which is the only difference between The NuFACE Mini & The Trinity. The Trinity is our favorite, so we used it a lot. However, we really enjoy the ELE (Eye & Lip Enhacer). Being someone with heavy lids, it is important that the eyes are well-maintained. The NUFACE Mini isn’t normally on sale, but the FIX device is. Although we have not tried it, we can vouch for its effectiveness. Overall, this is a great deal.
Is it better to use it at night or in the morning?
There are many videos on YouTube which will help you make an informed decision about whether or not to use it. It is extremely helpful! You can also find tons of videos on the NUFACE Instagram account. It’s best to use it in the morning before you shower. However, we have heard some people also use it at night. We personally prefer to use it in the morning because we want to feel fresh for the day. However, we do know that it is better to use it every day than not at all.
Do I need gel primer?
It’s optional. We have been using the gel primer since we have it. However, a few beauty editors told us that aloe gel works just as well.
So. Is the device worth its money?
This is where we are 100% honest with you all. This little thing is our favorite, especially when it’s used consistently. It is important to be consistent. We don’t want you to spend your money only to have it sit in your cabinet. It’s worth the investment if you can spare five minutes per day and several times per week.
It is not a replacement for botox, according to some reports. Despite that, we believe it will prolong the need for it.
