Most people think that the outdoors means sacrificing style for function. What if we told y’all that Prada is here to change all of this? It’s time for you to get out there and hike. The Aspen Art Museum and Aspen Art Museum collaborated to create an ephemeral installation for their Outdoor Mountain collection. It was set against the backdrop the Rocky Mountains of Aspen, Colorado on August 4, 2021.
Installations in New York and Los Angeles, the Aspen location evokes the bucolic fantasy we’ve all harbored throughout the past year. You’ll find a new definition of glamping at this particular spot on the ridge. The installation is furnished with Prada-level luxury and features retro picnic tables as well as sling chairs that are fully reclined to induce relaxation. All of them are emblazoned by the iconic Prada triangular logo. This scene is framed by the Rocky Mountains, which are covered in lush forests. It will make city dwellers want to pack their bags immediately.
Through the partnership, Prada is also supporting the annual ArtCrush festival, a cornerstone of the art world calendar, with a weeklong roster of artists’ projects, discussions, performances, and community events which preceded the museum’s Summer Gala, August 4th through the 6th. Prada will launch a series pop-up shops and installations throughout the country that are inspired by nature. Each shop and installation will be dedicated to four emotions: coast, mountain, snow, and garden. Intrigued?
