We are back discussing autumn trends. Didn’t Memorial Day just pass? Fall is here and we can now dive into the makeup trends that we are seeing. The fall makeup look of smoky eyes, voluminous lips and warm-toned blushes is our favorite. According to makeup experts, many of these trends will be around for the rest of 2021.
Trends are always changing. They’re interesting to look at and you can always make your own trends. Different styles and types of eye makeup are gaining popularity this season. You can expect to see bold and bright eyeshadows, a lot of lashes, and graphic eyeliner. It looks like our eyes will still be covered up in fall. This is a great time to play up your makeup.
This post will discuss the top eye trends of fall and give you some tips on how to achieve them.
GRAPHIC EYELINER
Now is the time to upgrade your eyeliner skills with bold, bright colors and bold lines. We think graphic eyeliners remind us of 1980’s makeup with neon lines that are drawn across other areas than your waterline. To create a double crease, you can use a glitter eyeliner like the Fenty Flypencil. You can also add a bright, neon pink to your waterline for a reverse-cat eye. You can experiment with many styles and colors with graphic eyeliner. There are no rules.
You can try it with the Fenty Flypencil Longwear eyeliner in Lady Lagoon.

SMOKEY EYES
Fall’s smokey eyes show off the soft side. A smokey eye is our favorite, but you can be as bold or soft as you want. A softness is the current trend. Instead of using all black, you can use greys, taupe, and soft browns. You don’t need to smoke black eyes. You can use the shadow of your choosing to make a purple, green, or blue smokey eye. If we want subtle smoke effects, we use a black or gray eyeliner on the top of the lids and blend it with fingers.
To create a smokey look for fall, you can use the Natasha Denona Mini-Xenon Eyeshadow Palette.

ULTRA LASHES
Get your best mascara and a pair of killer lashes for this fall. We look to fashion icons such as Naomi Campbell and Twiggy for inspiration. You can apply mascara to one eye at a time. You can also apply individual lashes to the bottom of your eyes if you’re feeling adventurous. You can also use your mascara wand to separate your bottom lashes, giving you a full-fanned look.
This dramatic look can be achieved with the Kiss Triple Push Up Lashes.

COLORFUL LIDS
We aren’t wearing rainbow eyeshadows this fall, but we don’t mind if you do! Colorful eyelids are all about using one color on the lid and making that the focal point of your makeup. Use an orange, indigo or burgundy eyeshadow on the lid. Keep your lips and face subtle with this look. The MAC Pro Longwear paint pot eyeshadow is our favorite. We recommend Bougie, a reddish brown with a pearl finish.

No matter what fall trend you choose, makeup doesn’t have to be boring. Experiment with different textures and colors. There are so many ways to make your eyes stand apart this fall. Eye makeup can be very diverse.
