The back-to-school season is officially here. To celebrate, DTLR has reconnected to New Balance to produce a “Varsity” colorway of the classic 992. This will be released to the public on Labor Day Weekend.

The new version is a smooth sequel to the DC-inspired New Balance 992 collaboration, which these parties released back in May. Blue suede panels can be found at the top of the toe boxes and near the eyelets, as well as on the heels. A bold splash of red is also seen on the collars, and the heel’s USA text.

The tongue’s New Balance branding is highlighted, as well as the rear. The former of these are also accompanied with an American flag. Want to copping these semi-chunky midsoles? The DTLR x New Balance 992 Varsity is due to be released on September 3.
