JT of City Girls and Yung Miami recently spoke out about their appearance on Drake’s “In My Feelings” single. They revealed that they sent Drake verses for the track. They said that Drake called them and it was a big secret they had to keep in the dark for a month.

“I can remember his feature with Lil Baby. I was so happy that we did it. Drake ain’t never finna calling our a*s. We didn’t know if the song would make it on the album, but we knew that he wanted to include us on the song.”

“We did verses,” they continued, adding, “They called us back to let us know it was on the album. It wasn’t even a full verse. Drake ripped our a**s off. Drake was likely to have said, “Y’all hoesn’t ready for full verses yet, but I’ma give y’all a shot,” We were thankful and that’s when [we] made it.”

Although “In My Feelings”, didn’t feature Yung Miami or JT, City Girls are credited with being songwriters and providing uncredited vocals.
