Drake confirmed the release date for his long-teased album Certified Lover Boy, following last week’s cryptic advertisement on ESPN’s SportsCenter.
“CERTIFIED Lover Boy September 3,” Drake wrote underneath an image of several “Pregnant Woman emojis” via Instagram Monday morning.
It comes days after Six God disrupted ESPN’s SportsCenter with a glitchy advertisement that imitated a broadcast hack. The commercial featured a piece made of cardboard that flashed in front of the screen with a handwritten message “CLB September 3”.
The official SportsCenter Twitter account expressed concern about the takeover and wrote, “We want you to apologise for any interruptions viewers may have experienced during SportsCenter today. There were technical issues that we had that have been fixed.”
“Album’s cooking.” Drake stated that he was looking forward to delivering the goods to him during his brief appearance. “I wish everyone in the world is blessed.
