Balenciaga has begun to release new colorways for the Runner, following a Justin Bieber-fronted campaign that saw them debut and a limited-run drop earlier in the month. It’s charming and steeped with early 2000’s nostalgia. This pair would look great paired with a Juicy Couture tracksuit covered in diamonte.

The baby pink on the upper is partially responsible for this. It also colors the overlaying panels and the sole unit. However, the nylon and mesh panels underneath are worn and damaged. It features the same mesh-based, leather-free construction, but with a bold blue base. This is topped with white plastic segments, most notably on the heel, and silver panels that embellish the upper in a bustling fashion. The tongue tab is made of silver mesh, and the vamp branding, toe and toe are decorated in more silver.
