ASICS’ GEL-1130, a nod to the brand’s GEL-1000 running series is an homage. It was also recently promoted in Kiko Kostadinov Studios’ in-line lifestyle collection. The GEL-1130 has returned, but without the help of Kiko’s design team. It now comes in two classic colorways: “Pure Gold” and “Polar Shade.”

Each style is a low-cut mesh that can be worn casually on the streets. “Pure Gold” has a white mesh upper that is embellished with metallic gold and silver details. Jet black accents are also included, especially on the Tiger stripe at the midfoot. The “Polar Shade” option offers a lighter look with tonal overlays and soft gray accents. Each silhouette is contrasted below by a thick slab GEL cushioning at the heel of each midsole and a supportive midfoot sheank.
