Adidas has released a new collection featuring its performance-led running silhouettes. This is in celebration of marathon season. The collection features four different ADIZERO shoes, each in a “Sonic Ink”, colorway that is a departure from previous heritage-inspired designs.
The ADIOS PRO 2 is the most popular running shoe. It features a lightweight, carbon-infused midsole and a super lightweight mesh upper. It also has a Continental rubber outsole for traction. The collection will be worn this season by Olympic gold medallist Peres Jepchirchir who won her gold medal in the ADIOS Pro 2. “As we enter a marathon season, I look forward to working with you and hoping that we can set some new records.”
The adidas website will have the three silhouettes available in Sonic Ink starting September 2.
