Welcome to the new series of articles which will examine the physical manifestations and effects of our closet tours IRL. We are asking friends and tastemakers for their actual outfits and opinions on fashion. We are talking with digital content creator. She is now in her third trimester and leans into chic, stretchy, oversized menswear to replace maternity wear. Let’s check her outfits for the next three days.
Day 1
The stretchy dress, which is extremely comfortable, and the material is lightweight enough to be worn on a hot summer’s day. The slides have been a constant companion, especially since it is becoming more difficult to tie the laces as I get near the end. Mix and match your accessories to ensure the outfit is always fresh.
Day 2
My body changes so much during pregnancy. I love being able to feel confident and stylish while still looking comfortable. I enjoy getting dressed up for myself and dressing up for my husband. So Day 2 I chose the the extra-long sleeves dress. The way it fit around my bump made it feel feminine and strong.
Day 3
His t-shirts, shirts, and sweaters are so soft that I love wearing them. I have found that men’s jeans are great for pregnancy, especially if you want a loose-fitting pair. It fits perfectly under my bump. This casual look was dressed up with some of my favorite accessories, such as PVC neon heels.
