While I jet set to many different places for work, my favorite type is family vacations. Recently, I returned from a few days in paradise at the Four Seasons Spain with my entire family. It was so relaxing. We had so many great times eating at the beach and having fun. I wanted to look my best, even though it was a family vacation. You know how I love dressing up and will accept any excuse to wear clothes! So I thought I’d share the pieces I brought along so you can be inspired for your next beach getaway. Check out the 8 fashionable pieces I took on my trip.
Tropical Maxi Dresses
A tropical printed maxi dress is the best way to set the mood for a vacation. It’s easy to pack multiple long dresses when I go on a relaxed beach vacation. They look great and are comfortable. You can also position them in casual or formal settings. It is important to use tropical flowers (rather than vintage roses or garden botanicals) and brighter colors as they help set the tone.
There has been a strong emphasis on the use of glam hardware in swimwear trends 2022. A waist chain is a great way to achieve this look without having to buy a new swimsuit. You can instantly accessorize with this unique accessory
I love the beach resort vibe. It makes me want to dress up in my best. You can spice up your vacation look with a few feathered pieces. This is what you will find these days.
Cutout One-Piece Suits
Although I love both one-piece and two-piece swimsuits, I found myself choosing the latter for this vacation. They look just as good as any bikini, and they can be worn with all the latest trends such as the cut out. There are many options. You have two options: a simple one-piece with a keyhole, or a daring monokini with intricate cutouts.
You can’t have a beach vacation without your slides! These sandals are easy to put on and still very popular. A pair of simple slides is essential for a relaxing vacation, where you will be moving from one place to another. For those who are looking for a versatile shoe, the minimal Birkenstock slides will work well. But for those who still want to stand out, you can find slides in bright colors.
You will need a pair of shoes that are more formal than the slides if you plan to go out for dinner. Because platform heels have been my latest obsession, I couldn’t help but bring them with me to Costa Rica. These shoes are so high that they will instantly elevate any outfit (literally) you put them on.
Sunnies are essential for those who plan to spend hours outdoors in the sun. Statement sunglasses are a great way to elevate your casual beach look. Fashionistas love oval shapes, sporty hexagon frames and Y2K rimless shades.
Clips or hair claws
Hair clips were the last thing I packed in my bag for Spain. This hair accessory has seen so many adorable upgrades and I’m here to support them all. The claw clips can be used to style your hair quickly in a variety of ways, including with rhinestone embellishments or printed claw clips. I always had one with me on vacation so it was easy to grab and go.
