Here’s the truth. I didn’t live like a real man. But I made a promise to myself. I promised that I would not give up. I was certain that I would succeed. You can too. This post will show you many ways to improve your manhood.

Each of these points is crucial to your journey to becoming a successful, fully realized man in the modern world. These items will make a huge difference in your life.

1. Be Comfortable Being a Man

Today, it is almost taboo to be really a male. If we want to be powerful and effective men, then we must let go of the cultural notions about manhood. Be comfortable with yourself. Own your masculinity. Be proud of who and what it is that you are.

This is the first step towards becoming a better man.

2. Pay your bills and wake up on time

Also, be more responsible. There will be no missed bills. You won’t have to show up late for work. You can show up on time or arrive 10 minutes early to work. You can take control of your life and ensure that you get the things done that you need. Jordan Peterson said, “Take responsibility.” Grab the biggest thing you have and take it with you. Stop staying awake late playing video games and then coming to work tired and hungry. You can take more pride than this. You are capable of much more.

3. Do a lot of running and pick up heavy stuff

Move, stretch, and lift weights. It should be a daily routine. It doesn’t matter if you are doing yoga, boxing or hiking. Get moving. Your health will improve dramatically if you increase your exercise. You’ll be more likely to get laid more often, feel better and generally feel happier. You will be a better man, plain and simple.

Seven years ago, my head was shaved, I had a small beard and poor style. I looked like a bald virgin potato. I wore only huge t-shirts and cheap jeans. My tennis shoes were a mess. My sex life was virtually nonexistent as a result. My self-esteem was low and I was not taken seriously by anyone. But I did it. Anyone can do this. Develop your personal style. Get more comfortable in your clothes. You can learn how to properly groom yourself. To get a professional haircut, visit a good barber. Have your beard professionally trimmed. You can find the perfect look for you and then rock it.

7. Hustle, Get Money, and Repeat

Men say one of my most embarrassing things: “I don’t really care about money. I don’t have a lot of money. I’m happy with having nothing.” Successful modern men will know that money is crucial to winning and leveling up. It’s not about having stuff. It’s about having pride, social status and power.

You can make money by understanding how to get it. Begin by obtaining the highest-paying job that you can. Always be the hardest worker in the room. Next, learn a high-income skill at night. This was freelance writing for me. Start a side hustle. If you keep working hard, your side-hustle can replace your 9-to-5 job and help you make more money. Next, you should start building businesses, websites, and investments. You can make that money. Increase your income. Every day, wake up with a “have skills, will grind” mindset. Women love it. It is respected by other men. Status and power go hand in hand. Men, take it.

8. Develop leadership and tribe-building abilities

Leadership is essential if you are to be a better man today. Sun Tzu’s The Art Of War. Radical Candor by Kim Scott is a follow-up to the Art of War. Understanding that dominance hierarchies exist is essential. By climbing the hierarchy effectively, you can not only effect greater positive change but also to level up your life in many ways. Your immediate family and friends are the first to build a tribe. Take on the responsibility for organizing and leading important projects. Learn to resolve disagreements peacefully. Learn how to motivate, encourage, and console others. You don’t have to be afraid of taking on leadership roles. Assume responsibility and ensure that your team’s projects succeed. We must become better leaders as men for our families, tribes, and communities. This will make the world a better place and help us become better men.

9. Find your purpose

Are you clear about your purpose in life? This is the first question I ask men when I coach them to improve their relationships. This is a crucial question, as it sets the tone for all other aspects of life. This question will help you find your purpose.

What is the biggest problem you would like to solve in your life? This question will help you to see what you should be doing. It’s not possible to live a life of purpose and vision without having a plan for the future. Without a purpose in his life, a man is like a boat lost at sea with no rudder.

10. The 5-Hour Rule

You must sharpen your mind if you want to become a great man. The 5-Hour Rule is used by some of the world’s most powerful people (e.g. Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Warren Buffet).

They spend an hour per day, five days a week in “deliberate practice,” gaining more knowledge and practicing to become better at what they are trying to master. This could be reading, learning, or practicing a trade. This will lead to mastery over time which is crucial for success.
